This protectorate is located at the confluence of the Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Aqaba, and represents the eastern edge of Ras Mohamed rocky wall with the waters of the Gulf, which has the coral reefs, and there are mangrove channel that separates the peninsula of Ras Mohammed and the island of Baarh length of about 250 m .
